Mount Pleasant is an up and coming neighbourhood with a mixture of houses, condos and townhomes. The neighbourhood starts at Quebec St and W 16th Ave and runs north, along False Creek, until Carall St; there, the border takes a right along the Georgia via Duct until it hits Main Street. Main St and Hastings St mark its most North-western point. The rest of the border is made up of Hastings St, Clark Dr and 16th Ave. Mount Pleasant is centrally located to Downtown Vancouver, restaurants, bars and other amenities. This is an ideal neighbourhood for a young family or professionals.
Neighbourhood Amenities
Main St and Kingsway is the core of the neighbourhoods commercial district with tons of trendy stores, restaurants and breweries. Mount Pleasant is home to an array of bars and restaurants from diners to Japanese, all within two blocks.
Just off of Kingsway and 8th Ave is the Mount Pleasant Community Centre. Close to Dude Chilling park, it is a civic-centre that offers a climbing wall, fitness centre, dance studio, gyms, and a VPL branch. This community centre offers vast programs for people of all ages, families and the elderly.

Mount Pleasant is a community centrally located to Vancouver wit Canada Line and Skytrain stops only shirt bus rides away. Cyclists, however, dominate the area, which has bike lanes throughout.
