Quilchena is beautiful neighbourhood with two large parks centrally located with quick and easy access to a shopping district near the north of the border. Quilchena’s northern border consists of King Edward St which runs from Puget Dr to Cypress St. Puget Dr eventually turns into Larch St after and extends down to W 37th Ave. Cypress St splits after intersecting W 33rd Ave and the border moves further east to Marguerite St and extends down to W 37th Ave where it marks Quilchena southern border.
Neighbourhood amenities
Prince of Wales and Quilchena Park are the most notable parks for their size and central location in the neighbourhood. Both parks originated were originally built as golf courses and were later sold to the city. Vancouver then decided to build a school on the western half (Prince of Wales) and a park on the eastern half (Quilchena Parks). Both parks offer open fields great for pick-up sports, jogging paths and baseball diamonds. In addition, Quilchena Park features a skate park and a lawn bowling area. Quilchena is home to the Arbutus Club which is a multi-recreational facility and services complex. It offers a place for members to enjoy various indoor and outdoor recreations as well as their full service massage and physiotherapists. This has been a great gathering place for many affluent members of society living in Vancouver West.
Just to the north side of Quilchena is a small shopping outlet located near King Edward and Arbutus St. Here residents can find a Safeway, BMO and professional services. All along Arbutus is a collection of neighbourhood shops designated to serve the community and its residents.

Transit
Residents of Quilchena who drive to downtown Vancouver have quick and easy access to Granville, Oak and Cambie St which are major thoroughfares that lead directly into downtown. There are major bus routes that go along King Edward St and W 33rd Ave that transfer transit users to the Canada Line for easy access to Vancouver or Richmond.
